What Is a Health Coach?

A heath coach seeks to provide health optimization by examining the entire patient, child or adult, including nutrition assessment, lifestyle habits, strategic behavior modification, daily stressors, enhancement of athletic performance, general wellness, weight loss, etc.

Dr. Saukin, herself a retired national athlete, specifically received this additional training in wellness for all ages by patient demand. She strives to help achieve optimal health and wellness by addressing the body and the mind. Dr. Saukin works individually with you to help identify habits which need to be shifted in order to achieve your specific goals.

  • Allergy Review – gluten, celiac
  • Daily stressors, child, teen, adult
  • Elimination diets
  • Custom diets
  • Body tying
  • Anorexia or Bulimia
  • Metabolic testing
  • Review of fad diets – Paleo, Atkins, etc.
  • Wedding or Prom dress regimens
  • Review of exercise regimens for children or adults and body mass index

Please note, your progress is closely monitored at any age, and a physical examination may be offered to enable further discussion of enhanced nutritional needs and identify possible problem areas otherwise not known (anemia, vitamin deficiencies, etc.).
